We must win. No more missteps are allowed. Real Madrid are showing no signs of slowing down and, if we want to catch them, we must demonstrate the same solidity. In these home games where we are so clear favourites, we should prove this superiority. We should dominate through possession, concede very few chances and ideally keep clean sheets more often, and be as clinical in attack as we were against Leganés.

This time, though, we should aim to have more control and less verticality, but without sacrificing the goalscoring opportunities created. Now, with the transfer window closed, we can focus exclusively on football, and we should already get the clear idea of what can this side be at its best. Even with some rotations, and by giving playtime to La Masía youngsters like Riqui and Collado, we should be capable of delivering a collective and selfless exhibition.

We still have a hell of a squad, and an ideal coach for our style, so we must be ambitious and push for all three titles. We need to keep making big steps forward and, with the Champions League approaching and us in second place in the league already, we need to give the culé fanbase good reasons for positivism.

Madrid won the Derby against Atleti yesterday and they are looking strong. We must keep pace with them and keep improving with every passing week.
Let’s have fun.
